Offering a wide variety of natural colour tones this involves mixtures of mineral oxides (iron, titanium, manganese) which are applied to the tiles in powder or liquid form mixed with the clay, before the firing.
It is precisely at the moment of firing that the clay and the oxides applied to the surface are transformed. The tile then acquires all its qualities of durability and permanence. The oxides are completely stabilised and take on a colour unaffected by UV or other factors such as pollution, variations in temperature, etc.

Continuous colours
